Senior Analyst Recovery - IHRC (L 08)

Essential Responsibilities:
- Develop and support Best-in-class analytic solutions/algorithms for all Recovery functions (Debt Sales, , Agency, Attorney, Debt Settlement and In-House Recovery Collections).
- Develop a good understanding of all data systems. Extract data from multiple sources to
- manipulate and merge large databases and to create recovery business reports.
- Identify and troubleshoot issues. Act as a data steward for recovery team advising Data
- Management on issue root cause and recommend solutions. Perform follow up testing after
- data issue fix is implemented and advise on data integrity and availability of use.
- Work on multiple projects simultaneously. Manage projects independently.
- Communicate reporting trends to Recovery process leaders and Stakeholders.
- Conduct analysis in various business/technical aspects, establishing priorities and coordinating work.
- Work closely with Recovery process owners to develop and implement optimization and control strategies
- Support tracking and reporting of strategy and process optimizations and/or champion/challenger tests including preliminary analysis of the performance of the different strategies
- Follow through on action items to ensure "Best Practices" are incorporated into future projects
- Perform other duties and/or special projects as assigned
Qualifications/Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline
- 3+ Years ‘experience with reporting/data gathering tools (eg. SAS,SQL, Tableau, Business Objects,Access) to retrieve data and develop business reports in a business or educational environment.
- At least 2+ years hand on experience in Advanced Analytics
- Working knowledge of SAS coding, SQL, Unix, Excel.
- Strong Team Player in cross-functional environment.
- Strong written/oral communication skills.
- Work experience in preparing and presenting analytical data and recommendations to Sr.Level Management.
