We lead support for Cloud and Cognitive software in a Client facing remote support role.

Your Role and ResponsibilitiesThe Application Support Engineer role requires a well organized, candidate with exceptional time management and strong written and oral communication skills to drive customer facing support issues in a fast - paced environment. - You will be responsible to ensure our SaaS offering is meeting our SLOs.
- You will engage in all aspects of providing excellent customer support.
- You will specialize in helping our customers resolve issues using our products such as Blockchain, API, IOT, APP-Connect.
- You will work in collaboration with team members, other IT organizations and business partners to meet the needs of the business as well as that of the customers.
What you’ll do:
- You will providing world-class support by performing problem analysis, evaluation, recreation, and resolution of client reported problems.
- You will utilize Blockchain, APIc, IOT, APPConnect.
- You out to work on problem determination,resolution and troubleshooting.
- You will monitor the Cloud environment to provide optimum system availability.
- You will provide timely updates on assigned projects.

Required Professional and Technical Expertise- 3+ years experience in level 2 customer service software support.
- 1 year of experience in scripting in any of the scripting/programming languages.
- Confirmed experience working in the Linux/Unix environment.
- Proven experience working on Cloud software monitoring in Software as a Service (SaaS) environment, PaaS, IaaS (Softlayer),and virtualization technologies.
- Experience with Relational Databases (IBM DB2, Oracle) as well as NoSQL (MongoDB, Postgres).
- Experience handling support on J2EE Application Servers IBM WebSphere, JBoss, or Tomcat.
Preferred Professional and Technical Expertise- Ability to both work independently as well as in a team environment
- Ability to organize and prioritize multiple work assignments.
- Knowledge of Cloud and cognitive computing platforms.
- Knowledge of Docker and Containers.
