Requirements: University degree in a relevant field in communications or a related field (journalism, public relations, marketing, communications),or equivalent in experience.
Minimum of 6 years relevant experience of demonstrable experience in the field of communication.
Copywriting and Content Development to support the country team to develop a variety of written materials that may include content for website, digital media, direct mail, reports, publications, presentations, campaigns, donor engagement tools, and external communications for agriculture and nutrition sector audience, donors, and corporate partners.
Collaborate with country teams and Communications team to design training activities and tailor to implement with various stakeholders.Review and edit content (including grants, donor reports, marketing collateral, etc.) in both English and Hindi to ensure consistent global branding and messaging.Have demonstrated technical skills – such as experience with social media management tools; experience with media tracking and database tools; experience with adobe creative suite tools.Have demonstrated success in working in multi-disciplinary teams and partnerships.Strong end-product development focus and ability to successfully deliver products to market.
Solid understanding of agricultural, natural resource management, livelihoods issues and cultural sensitivity in the developing world.Excellent leadership, training and facilitation skills.Ability to multi-task and work under pressure,Ability to initiate and lead the planning, communication and coordination with research, marketing, Demonstrated planning, organization, and problem-solving skills.
Excellent oral and written English communication, persuasion, presentation, and interpersonal skills; fluency in Hindi is necessary and other local languages are preferred.Collaborative, self-motivated and able to work well within a multi-disciplinary team Willingness to travel, including to field sites in which conditions might be rudimentary and physically demanding. General: This is a Locally Recruited Staff (LRS) position initially for 3 years, and extendable depending on performance of the incumbent and the institute’s continuing need for the position.
