Qualifications :  A Medical graduate (MBBS) with Post graduate degree/diploma in Public Health Management / Preventive & Social Medicine/Hospital Health Care Management or any postgraduate medical qualification with minimum of 7 (Seven) years of post qualification work experience in the field of public health.  Experience in working for reform health systems and management of change in health sector. Computer proficiency with high level of familiarity with data base management programme and commonly used packages like MS Word, Excel, Power Point etc. Excellent communication and presentation skills and analytical abilities, excellent oral and written communication skills in English and Hindi with working knowledge of one or more language of North East. Have the skills to build a team and mentor young professionals into competence in providing technical assistance for health sector reform.

Qualifications :  MBBS with Post Graduation or higher qualification in Public health, Community health, Preventive & Social Medicine with a year of post qualification experience. In addition, other non-MBBS candidates with a post-graduate qualification in public health, social sciences or a related field and with two years of relevant work experience are also eligible to apply. Published work in the area of human resources for health, health systems or public health.

Desirable : Work experience/Competence in the area of human resources for health or health systems strengthening would be an advantage. Computer proficiency with high level of familiarity with commonly used packages like MS Word, Excel, Power Point & Web surfing to search relevant data & documents. Excellent communication and presentation skills, analytical and interpersonal abilities, excellent oral and written communication skills in English. Demonstrated ability to work in a multi-disciplinary team environment. Demonstrated experience in operationalizing health programme at field level / working in strengthening of district level health systems would be an advantage.  Willingness to travel to states & districts to provide technical assistance & ability to work on different assignments simultaneously to meet the timelines for assignments. For some tasks specific technical skills or part experience in some specific areas is desirable – these include Evaluation Techniques & Study Designs, Policy Development Work, data review, report writing etc. Formal educational qualification and experience could be relaxed when there is published quality work or work experience of specific relevance. Qualification :  Possess a Medical/Dental/Ayush degree from a reputed Institute. Full-time two years’ Post-graduation in Hospital/Health Administration. Qualification :  Graduate degree in Medicine/Health/Public Health/Social Science. Qualifications : Medical / Dental/ Ayush/ Nursing degree from a recognised institute. Two years’ full time Masters’ Degree (or Equivalent) in Hospital/Healthcare Management from a reputed institute.  At least three-years post qualification experience (after MHA or equivalent) of working on projects, which led to accreditation/certification of Health Facilities to National Quality Assurance Standards (NQAS)/ NABH/ JCI.  Excellent Communication skills –Verbal (Hindi & English) & Written (English). Proficiency in MS Office package. Above-mentioned criteria may be relaxed for deserving candidates, who have robust field experience. Preference may be given to those applicants, who have directly worked at National/State/District level on the assignments, resulting into certification against NQAS.

At least 5 years of post-qualification work experience in health systems strengthening, program planning or implementation .  Demonstrated experience in operationalizing health programs at field level; working in strengthening of district level health systems. Should have experience of: preparing and implementation of DHAP, undertaking MDR and/or CDR. Should have a comprehensive understanding of various aspects of urban health program. Should be able to design strategies to achieve program goals and plan activities towards the same. Competency and experience in working on urban health issues at program or policy level, monitoring and evaluation, data analysis, public health administration and governance. Ability to develop technical guidelines and documents on health programs.
