Senior Data Analyst

The Senior Data Analyst is expected to oversee and drive to completion enterprise services programs covering a wide variety of areas including large data analytics & strategy, implementation, and adoption.
The Sr. Data Analyst will gain an understanding of both First American's business and technical requirements in order to deliver accurate and on-time data from complex and highly diversified sources, presented in the most effective manner in order to drive business outcomes.
The Sr. Data Analyst will also work collaboratively with First American NCS sales and technical teams to lead the design and delivery of proposed solutions to meet customer needs.

Technical Skills :

A minimum of 3-5 years SQL development experience preferably with data warehouse environments
Good understanding of Amazon AWS and/or Microsoft Azure ecosystems
Experience troubleshooting database connectivity issues using a variety of methods (client software, drivers/connectors)
Understanding of Data Warehousing fundamentals and concepts
Database migration and ETL experience
Experience writing advanced SQL queries
Strong SQL programming skills, writing data validation scripts, troubleshooting and debugging
Strong communication and relationship skills
Strong problem solver, able to assimilate information quickly and to holistically analyze and solve problems
Ability to work effectively with both users and project team members
Experience and comfort in working on multiple projects simultaneously

The Skills that are Good to Have for this role:

Experience in Snowflake Cloud Data Warehouse
Functional knowledge of any insurance domain
Working knowledge of any reporting tools e.g. Domo, Power BI, SSRS

Educational Qualification and Experience:

Minimum of 15 years of formal education - Graduate / Post Graduate in Computer Science / Information Technology.
Professional work experience of 3 to 5 years.
