Designation / Position: Senior Engineer

Job Description / Duties & Responsibilities :

Profile Requirements:

• Good handle at NoSQL database preferably Hbase or Cassandra. Strong exposure to Design NoSQL tables and manage them optimally

• Excellent database technology skills with strong background to OLTP & OLAP solutions 

      Exposure to query tuning & writing stored procedures is a must 

      Ability to independently create a schema based on custom requirements

• Exposure to large scale production solutions and clustered the environment will be a great plus

• Excellent computer science fundamentals with significant exposure to networking, distributed computing & web technologies

• Hands-on technology skills and awareness to technology happenings 

     Exposure to good DB programming practices and principles 

     Ability to perform low-level DB design

• Good communication, problem-solving & interpersonal skills

Eligibility Criterion:

• 6+ years of industry experience

• Qualification: BE (CS/IT) / MCA with good academic track record (>60% in 10/12/G/PG)

• Industry standard certification

• Exposure to Hbase or Cassandra DB

• Must have done independently developed NoSQL database the schema for production-grade solution

• Must have achieved tuning and management of 1 production grade solution

Responsibilities:

• Design and manage NoSQL data schema

• Responsible for performing all the DB oriented activities

      Schema design 

      Query tuning 

      Designing indexes 

      Run explain plans 

      Observe production performance

      Code triggers, procedures, functions etc.

• Lead a team of database engineers and be responsible for all the development of delivery created by a team

• Collaborate with team in release execution cycles & manage the implementation of the suggested module independently

High Level Skills: Database Lead with NoSQL skills (Mandatory)

Preferred Qualities: The candidate will start working in Indore at Client location and after 6 months will be deployed in Bangalore. Looking candidates from Similar Telecom Domain companies within MP.

Salary Offered: Between 8-22 L
