Short Description:

Validation of Electric Vehicle components at system or subsystem or at component level is very important to ascertain the performance and ruggedness of the part and defines the life of the component.
This position requires to understand the various conditions which can arrive during vehicle operating conditions and handling and convert those conditions into a validation spec and perform the test.

Key Responsibilities:

Design Validation of Electric vehicle Parts
Development of Electric Vehicle related test facility including procurement of Equipments
Preparing testing manuals & test Reports
To Understand the Electric Vehicle Architecture, Battery management system, Electric vehicle test standards & regulation
Benchmarking, Correlation of testing and design parameters & ensuring DFMEA, DFA, DFM and DOE of Electric vehicle Parts
Performing VA/VE ideas, and analysing warranty issue and correcting it in design

Key Challenges:

Awareness of high voltage test standards & handling the high voltage equipments
Know-how of Li ion cell chemistries & its testing procedures
Know-how of Power electronic components like dc dc converter, inverter & controller
Know-how of AC/ DC chargers
Awareness of global test standards & regulations related to Electric vehicle

Skills Information:

BE/BTech in Electronics/Electrical Engineering from renowned Institute
Min 3 years of experience in Electric Vehicle domain
5~11 years
