Job Description

Responsibilities:
1. Be able to handle New Product Development activities including, but not limited to - Concept Design, Detailed Design,Testing, Qualification and Phase Documentation.
2. Power transmission / distribution / Safety domain knowledge / experience would be preferred.
3. Prepare 3D models, drawings and specifications for the respective product line including document control.
4. Manufacturing facilities & Testing Fixture establishment (e.g Riveting fixture, Pull off test Fixture, etc)
5. Understanding of relevant standards and deriving product and test specification.
6. Coordinate with suppliers for sourced items.
7. Work with international customers (internal) for the design and development.
Requirements:
1. A Graduate Degree in field of Mechanical Engineering shall be considered.
2. Minimum 1 years to Maximum 5 years experience in Design & Development in NPD framework preferably in Manufacturing Organization.
3. Understanding of DFSS, engineering calculation is preferred.
4. Knowledge of Domain relevant NFC / IEC standards will be an advantage.
5. Well versed in 3D Modelling, Pro-E Creo & AutoCAD
6. Ability to work independently, adapt to global time zone working requirements and collaborative working in a MNC environment.
7. Excellent Oral & Written Communication Skills in English. Knowledge of French would be an advantage.8. Strong Analytical & Problem solving Skills.
9. Working Knowledge on Microsoft Office Suite.
10. Good to Have: Corel Draw, Photoshop, Key Shot
