Senior Finance Specialist - COE Trade Support & Asset Servicing

Key skills:

Should have a very good knowledge of one or more of the following functional areas:
Trade support and Asset servicing: Trade support and Trade entry: Interfaced trade entry, Manual trade entry, Cash transfers, Asset transfers, Initial posting of trade, create SAP postings.
Corporate actions: Income booking dividends, Income booking coupon payments, maturities and redemption booking, mandatory corporate actions, manual postings, capital commitment increase/decrease, capital return/payment/ profit distribution, rights optional corporate actions,.
OTC: Give notice; roll over, expiration exercise, margin management for repo. Margin variation for futures, margin management for swaps/other derivatives.
Cash & Custody reconciliations: Cash reconciliations and custody position reconciliations & Data management
Ability to work independently

Prior experience of working on SAP will be an added advantage
Good knowledge of MS Office applications, especially Word and Excel desirable
Ability to perform tasks on multiple computer applications

Key responsibilities:

Ensure monthly sign off on all postings in SAP are provided to Investment Accounting & Reporting team as per agreed timelines and quality
Appropriate controls (system & manual) are performed to ensure all posting as accurately completed by FSSC Both completeness and quality checks should be effectively carried out
Effective handling of queries from Investment Accounting & Reporting teams (Paris & Pune),Local (country),FSSC, Banks, Custodians etc
Ensure strong communication & coordination with these entities resulting in closure of issues before monthly sign off
Provide feedback to FSSC on their performance and highlight/escalate issues on a timely manner to FSSC assistant managers
Develop collaborate work environment with FSSC
Coordinate with COE Paris on migration of new work types, company codes or new controls to meet regulatory requirements
Ensure all process documentation is up to date including the Core Process Organization
Participate in productivity and Opex initiatives resulting in standardization and improvements in process
Perform daily transactional activities related to TAS activities and ensure timely & accurate sign off is provided to IAR
Assist in training of new staff on the Core TAS work types
Identify process efficiencies and participate in process improvement initiative
Make updates and amendments to process documentation/SOP/CPO. Validate SOPs from FSSC
Participate in training sessions
Work on Ad-hoc projects within the Trade Support & Asset Servicing teams
Identify process efficiencies and participate in process improvement initiative
Responsible for service delivery by team on agreed key performance metrics of turnaround time, quality, etc
