The primary role of Equiniti Group Internal Audit is to help the Board and Executive Management to protect the assets, reputation and sustainability of the Equiniti Group. It does this by assessing whether all significant risks are identified and appropriately reported by management and the Risk function to the Board and Executive Management; assessing whether they are adequately controlled; and by challenging Executive Management to improve the effectiveness of governance, risk management and internal controls. This is a highly visible role with significant responsibility in providing successful assurance over management of IT risk, so you'll need good knowledge in a financial services context, as well as end to end IT internal audit experience. You'll augment your technical audit skills with an outstanding ability to build robust stakeholder relationships with senior business colleagues.

The successful candidate will be responsible for the following:

• Execute and co-ordinate execution of audit planning, fieldwork and draft reporting to support the achievement of the IT and Security audit plan across all Business Units and locations (UK, US, Chennai etc.)
• Make Design of Control Analysis and Create Test Sheets for execution by self and team
• Document findings and propose root cause analysis in Issue Sheets
• Write and manage timely delivery of Audit Reports
• Establish and maintain links with business management to be able to source information to support testing quickly and efficiently
• Maintain updated the audit Risk Assessments for IT impacted audit entities
• Co-ordinate and manage audit activities on-site and remotely with limited oversight
• Manage internal and out-sourced audit resources in order to deliver audit engagements
• Track and test implementation of management actions to address audit issues
• Day to day management and oversight of an IT Auditor based in India
• Provide support across the Group Internal Audit Team in the furtherance of achieving Group Internal Audit Objectives

The successful candidate will demonstrate the following experience :

• Hold one or more IT Audit Qualifications (e.g. CISA / CISM / CISSP / CRISC, PRINCE)
• Have at least 3+ years IT Audit experience in relevant industry sectors, including experience operating as a Senior IT Auditor
• Extensive ITGC, Application Controls, Infrastructure and Cyber Security experience
• Be conversant with all Enterprise Wide Risks, including Operational, IT, projects/ change, offshoring, vendor management
• Be confident in the use of Data Analytics and related audit techniques;
• Be able to identify and assess complex IT risks and controls, and relate these to the wider business environment
• Have the appropriate standing and authority to challenge management.
• Possess the ability to create open, constructive and co-operative relationships with the IT, Business and Risk functions, which support sharing of information
• Be able to find information and build an ability to continually access it efficiently
• Have experience of providing Internal Audit in a geographically dispersed business and have the ability to work independently.
• Have experience of auditing, influencing and operating within fast changing organisations
