Senior Java Developer - J2ee/spring/hibernate

Qualifications :

1. Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a software engineering discipline

2. Expertise in at least one technology stack designing, coding, testing, and delivering software

3. Proficiency in one or more technology domains, may be a cross-domain expert able to solve complex and mission critical problems within a business or across the firm

4. Excellent debugging and troubleshooting skills

5. MySQL - Functional knowledge of SQL; Practical implementation experience of schemas and stored procedures

6. Strong Java and J2EE, Hibernate, Spring, JSP, Javascript.

Job description

Looking for Java support roles with at least 3 years experience, preferably 4-5 years, who is proficient in managing an entire Java app and leading the support team. The person should be enthusiastic to move in to other languages or frameworks if and when necessary.

Requirements :

1. Experience in supporting and maintaining a monitoring and alert system

2. Experience supporting and troubleshooting relational databases and distributed platforms

3. Experience in supporting and maintaining Java applications

6. Experience managing systems monitoring and alerts.

7. Experience with JVM optimisation and Java server technologies

8. Troubleshoot priority incidents and facilitate blameless post evaluations

9. Work with development teams throughout the software life cycle ensuring sustainable software releases

10. Perform analytics on past data, such as incidents and usage patterns for predicting issues and take proactive steps to implement improvements

11. Lead and participate in performance tests, and identify bottlenecks and opportunities for optimization and capacity demands

12. Split time between operational work and engineering work
