Results360 is Bain’s change execution approach that ensures clients deliver lasting results as they implement change. It includes a bundle of all the things our clients ask about to support implementation of our recommendations. It is grounded in our proprietary change management science (called Results Delivery),but we have appended new, innovative approaches like the Change Power Index hook, digital tools and predictive analytics, capability building and expert support in the “long tail” of implementation.
- Product, Practice and Knowledge (PPK) : Over the past two decades, Bain’s Industry and Capability areas of expertise have formalized into Practices within the PPK group, and are integral to how Bain wins and delivers results to its clients. Each Practice is led by a Global Practice Leader and Regional Practice Leaders, who are client-facing Partners with partial allocation to these servant-leader roles. The Practice “business” is led day-to-day by a dedicated Practice Vice President, Practice Directors, and Practice Consultants, Knowledge Specialists, and Knowledge Associates. Together they collectively identify, create and leverage “best of Bain” content, expertise, and commercial strategies
- Results Acceleration Practice (RAP) : RAP is made up of a 5 sub-teams: Results360 (Bain’s branded Change Management Solution),Operating Model, Agile, Transformation, and Leadership & Talent. RAP brings together a set of complementary disciplines and experts to help clients deliver breakthrough results by unlocking the power of people – inspiring leaders, empowering teams, and helping create high-velocity organizations
- Results360 Team : The Results360 Team will be your day-to-day working team, made up of Practice roles across the globe. As a member of the Results360 team, you will join a high performing team that is delivering exceptional results for Bain, in a highly collaborative, co-creative, and engaging style. We strive to set the bar for team development, IP quality, responsiveness and customer service orientation. In addition, we prioritize personal relationships, individual coaching and development, rewarding entrepreneurism and innovation and an at-cause attitude
What You’ll Do
Sr. Knowledge Specialists play a critical role in supporting Bain’s ability to deliver outstanding results for our clients. Knowledge Management is important to harness the best of our consulting staffs’ individual and collective expertise, and to make it available to our broader firm.
This position is a full-time role, working closely with the Practice Director, Senior Analyst, and other Knowledge Specialists on the team. Your focus area will be our Change Power hook and Risk Dialogue product.
Lead the capture and sharing of the Results360 knowledge base in Asia Pacific region, with a focus on our Change Power hook and Risk Dialogue product globally
- Capture and process knowledge onto our global intranet platform from client development and case team efforts
- Coordinate with other Knowledge Specialists to identify cross practice content priorities and identify gaps in the knowledge base
- Communicate with case teams and practice affiliates to understand work and solicit most relevant content
- Manage metadata to facilitate user searching
- Package and codify our best thinking into insights
- Collaborate with practice team members to fill content gaps through new product development and deployment
- Manage and maintain practice page(s) on the intranet; ensuring our best materials are represented and shared
- Oversee Knowledge Associate in managing and maintaining the knowledge base
Advise consulting staff during selling and serving activities to deliver extraordinary value to our clients
- Arm client development and case teams with the “latest and greatest” Results360 perspectives
- Advise teams on how to use the Change Power hook and Risk Dialogue products in various selling and serving situations
Support Practice Leadership team and Practice Director as they develop Practice strategy, insights, and drive operations
- Collect feedback on Results 360 tools and track key performance indicators
- Assist with affiliate communication, including cases to feature in newsletters and calls
- Support other ad-hoc IP development and operations, likely focusing the Change Power hook and Risk Dialogue
In the near-term, gain foundational knowledge on tools by supporting Bain case teams in deploying Results 360 tools (Risk Assessment and Change Power survey)
- Share the relevant materials (the questionnaire, output template etc.) with the interested case teams. Also, align on timelines and expected output
- Work with the Practice Analyst to code the survey and create output (PPT, Excel, Tableau) once the survey closes
- Share the insights and relevant follow-up materials with the case teams
Actively contribute to the practice and broader PPK team
- Participate in (and sometimes lead) global team training, group projects, experience sharing, mentoring, and other initiatives
- Assign, review, and provide feedback on junior practice member’s work. Provide input into day to day workplan for junior team members and provide coaching and development
Skills And Experience
- 4 to 6 years of experience with post-graduation & 6 to 8 years with an undergraduate in a professional services firm, ideally with exposure to one or more of the following disciplines: consulting, research and analysis, knowledge management, strategic planning, business development, product development, marketing, and/or project management
- You’re passionate about change management topics
- You’re intellectually curious
- You have strong analytical abilities and experience bringing innovative and ‘outside the box’ approaches to problem solving
- You enjoy working in a fast-paced and sometimes demanding environment, and you have the ability to juggle multiple priorities
- Attentive to detail and very organized. You’re known for your high-quality work
- You can self-motivate and work autonomously while appreciating guided coaching and collaborative teaming
- Superior customer service attitude
- You keep a positive mindset and high levels of energy and enthusiasm
- Strong communication and presentation skills. You can engage with senior business executives and team with colleagues across the globe and in different time zones
