Job Description

Job Position: Senior Manager (LAQ)

Location: Jharkhand

Key Roles & Responsibilities :

• Supervision of work carried out by the contractor  
• Negotiate, validate, analyse, and draft land related contracts
• PR with local authorities for timely acquisition of land
• Review standard legal documentation used by the Company to ensure that it is legally appropriate.
• Responsible for documentation & drafting for replies of notices/ letters of land department
• Should be well versed with LAQ Laws and Rules of various states and its application
• Responsible for preparation of consolidation Legal MIS.
• Need to liaise with land owners, village authorities, state government authorities.
• Develop processes, policies and procedures designed to reduce legal risk and/or increase the efficiency.
• Assist in locating lands suitable for acquisition and development by conducting the necessary market research and due diligence
• Determine land values in the specific market by checking like property sales by means of public records, developers and other professional affiliates  
• Provide suggestions to the management and contractor for improving LAQ related activities

Qualification and Experience:  

• Minimum Qualification: Graduate / LLB
• Experience: 5 Years of experience in oil and gas industry and CBM operations
