Senior Manager - Legal

Location: Bangalore, Karnataka

Will be responsible for contract management, litigation management and providing legal support for real estate issues

Key responsibilities:

Draft, review and negotiate contracts and legal documentation
Ability to draft, restructure, negotiate and advise on a broad range of commercial contracts including master service agreements, service level agreements/statement of works, addendums, amendments
Draft, review and negotiate vendor contracts in line with the company’s vendor onboarding framework
Review and advice on real estate agreements, terms and conditions of sale & purchase of goods/services and other ad-hoc contracts
Draft reply to show cause notices, letters, any communication received from the regulators
Follow-up on pending litigation with the advocates/consultants and ensure timely and effective closure
Update and maintain the litigation tracker, liaison with the respective stakeholders
Report to and advise management for best course of action for each litigation
Manage and track various lease deeds of AXA BS at Pune and Bangalore locations
Ensure timely renewal, registration of lease deeds
Assist facilities with compliance with terms of the lease
Coordinate with real estate consultants for obtaining permissions, exemptions etc. available to IT/ ITES for leased premises
Monitor and advise management on various compliances related to leasing including but not limited to NBC compliance, SEZ / STPI compliance
