Monthly emoluments: Rs.42000/- + HRA

Nature of Vacancy: Temporary

Essential:

(a) Master’s degree in Natural or Agricultural Sciences/MVSc or Bachelor’s degree in Engineering and Technology or Medicine from a recognized University or equivalent: and

(b) Four Years’ experience in Research and Development in industrial and Academic institutions or science and technology organizations and scientific activities and services OR

Desirable: Experience of operating, maintenance and/or service provision (including data analysis) of at least one of the following equipment: Laser Scanning Super Resolution Microscope System, High Resolution Accurate Mass Spectrometry System, Photoacoustic Imaging Platform, Laser Ablation (Femto-second) Combustion Gas Chromatography High Resolution-Isotope Mass Spectrometry, Solution and Solid State 600 MHz NMR Spectrometer;Nanolithography system for 3D Nano- and large area-opto-electronic device fabrication and characterization, clean room, spectrophotometer, ICPMS, TEM

Job Description: The Project Associate is expected to operate and maintain one or more of the listed equipment. S/he will receive samples from users, process them, analyze on the assigned equipment, analyze and provide data/results to the users in a user-friendly manner. S/he is also expected to obtain NABL accreditation of the assigned equipment-based analysis and operate them as per the terms and conditions of accreditation.Initial appointment will be for one year which can be extended up to three years on yearly renewal basis based on evaluation of satisfactory performance.

Age Limit: The candidate must not exceed 40 years on the last date of application. Age may be relaxed for experienced and well qualified candidates.
