Your Role and ResponsibilitiesAs Project Manager, you are responsible for project management support of both client and cloud network environments. Exhibit project leadership in a shared services resource environment
- Ability to collect technical inputs from subject matter experts and create solutions to drive aggressive timelines
- Communicate complex issues to stakeholders with recommendations on the path forward.
- Manage fleet refresh projects including hardware and software
- Assistance in security deployment and management.
- Allocate resources appropriately to meet program needs and minimize resource contention.
- Coordinate stakeholder meetings to ensure all parties understand the deliveries and milestones and the resources that are assigned
- Facilitate/manage solution Maturing phase of the project by working with design/solution team.
- Develop detailed implementation plans using MS Project or Account specific tool
Conduct Project Definition Workshops with all the stakeholders and produce the written report - Project Definition Report. - Work with various delivery team to ensure that all relevant teams within IBM and alliance teams/sub-contractors are engaged during implementation.
Required Technical and Professional Expertise- Minimum 10+years of overall experience in IT industry
- Minimum 5+ years IT operations and engineering experience.
- Minimum 2+ years cloud network and security technologies experience.
- Proficient in Agile methodology with an ability to adapt quickly to changing technology requirements
- Proven project management skill and an ability to navigate fast-paced and rapidly evolving environments, # Knowledge of the PMI Process Groups; Initiating, planning, executing, controlling, and closing. Knowledge of current Project Management methodologies
- Solid experience in Implementation of Infrastructure projects, including preferred experience with Intel, Midrange or Mainframe platforms, SAN/Storage, TSM, Networks, Data Centre, Server, Security, Desktop, Active Directories, Security
- Able to Negotiates effectively with team members to define the team's goals, work content and schedules.
Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise- Project Management Professional certification
