Job Description

Senior Quality Assurance Engineer - ADMS-Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India

Your background :

  • A Bachelor degree in Engineering or related discipline.
  • At least 3 years of domain expertise in Outage Management Systems (OMS) and Advanced Distributed Power Applications like VVC, Unbalanced Load Flow, Restoration Switching Analysis (RSA),FLISR, Load Allocation, etc. will be preferred.
  • Experience in Distribution and Transmission side of the Utility Industry – ADMS, SCADA systems, ICCP protocols, Service Suite (EWFM),EMS / GMS applications will be preferred.
  • Experience with UNIX shell scripting, use of persistent storage such as Oracle DBMS, PostgreSQL (at least one of them is a must).
  • Experience in Agile Methodology working within Sprints is a must.
  • Experienced in multiple application platforms (Unix, Linux, Windows).
  • Experience in Backend API Automation and Web Services approaches along with the relationship to an application.
  • Experience in Software Installation and Configuration Management is a plus.
  • Additional Experience in testing automation using tools like Coded UI, Windows API automation using Visual Studio C# and Load testing tools like Load Runner / Jmeter is a plus.
