Your Team responsibilities –

We are seeking an outstanding Senior Report Developer, as part of the firm’s One MSCI initiative around modernizing our technology and buildout of the next generation financial tech software. This is a Reporting Systems position, with opportunities to drive the development agenda in areas around report design and generation, scheduling and distribution, data, analytics, user experience, and more.

Your Key Responsibilities –

• You will be responsible for delivering new functionality for the internal production platform and the client delivery platform for the MSCI Reporting. Implement/Design Software tools/services for Reporting.
• Closely collaborate with Product Management, Quality Assurance, Data Operation and IT Infrastructure on all stages of software development life cycle.
  
  

Your Skills And Experience That Will Help You Excel –

• Requirement understanding, Data extraction and Transformation.
• Experience in creating data models and cubes, adding calculations, creating hierarchies and interactive visualizations.
• Experience to create reports and dashboards as per the technical specifications.
• Expertise in Eclipse Birt/Actuate/OpenText ihub, or any other report design tools.
• Experience in consuming (incremental load) and transforming data.
• Thorough understanding of JavaScript and HTML/CSS concepts
• Experience with HighCharts/D3 and creating custom D3 charts.
• Experience in developing custom JavaScript components.
• Source code control systems, especially Git.
• Good to have experience of Azure Dev Ops.
• Experience with databases.
• Strong communication, interpersonal and problem-solving skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Mathematics, Engineering, related field, or equivalent experience.
