Job Description

National Institute of Mental Health and Neuro Sciences (NIMHANS) invites application for the position Senior Research Fellow

Project: “Moving Pictures: Using Digital Media to improve Dementia Care in India”-

No. of Post: 01

Essential Qualification: Master’s in behavioral sciences (Psychology, Social Work and Counselling) with additional 2 years experience in research work/ M.Phil. in behavioral sciences.

Desirable Qualification: Candidates with experience in mental health education, working with digital media, qualitative research, and geriatric mental health are preferred. Candidates must be able to read and write Kannada fluently and have good English speaking and writing skills.

Work location National Institute of Mental Health and Neurosciences (NIMHANS),Bengaluru and in the community within Bengaluru city.

Emoluments 35,000/-+24% HRA per month

Duration of the project 3 year. Initial appointment will be made for a period of six months which will be extendable at the end of every six months till the end of the project, depending on the performance of the candidate.

Age Limit: 40 Years (Maximum)
