IVRI jobs - Senior Research Fellow

Engagement of one “Senior Research Fellow” under NASF sponsored project entitled “Epidemiological studies and development of antiviral therapeutics against coronaviruses”. The engagement is purely temporary on contractual basis and co-terminus with the project.

2. Essential Qualification: Master degree in relevant subject (microbiology/ veterinary Microbiology/ biotechnology/ animal biotechnology/ Public Health/ Epidemiology/ Pathology or any other relevant subject) with 4 years / 5 years of Bachelor’s degree. Candidates having Post graduate degree in basic sciences with 3 years of Bachelor’s degree and 2 years master’s degree should have NET qualifications and 2 years of research experience as mentioned in OM No Edn/6/27/2014/HRD dated 13 July 2015, OM no Agril. Edn 6/27/2014/HRD 9th Oct 2015 of the Council and OM SR/S9/Z-09/2018 of DST dated 30th January 2019.

3. Desirable: Working knowledge of Molecular biology, Animal Cell culture, recombinant DNA technology and basic knowledge of computer applications (web-searching, data compilation etc).

4. Emoluments: Rs. 31,000/- PM + HRA for 1st and 2nd year Rs 35000/- PM+ HRA for 3rd year (as per Central Govt. norms).

5. Duration of the Project: Likely up to May 2024
