Job Description

An Online Interview for the engagement of a Senior Research Fellow (on contract basis) for a Research Project in the School of Materials Science and Engineering, NIT Calicut is scheduled to be held on 30.09.2021.

1. Post Name: Senior Research Fellow

2. Duration of Engagement: Up to 31st January 2022 (on contract basis) and may be extendable based on the performance of the candidate and availability of the project fund.

3. Name of the sponsoring Agency: Department of Science and Technology (DST),Govt. of India.

4. Name of Project: “Design and Development of a low cost, rapid and sensitive sensor for the onsite detection of Endotoxin”

5. Qualifications: M.Sc Chemistry/M.Sc. Physics with a minimum of 60% or 6.0 CGPA Candidate should have a minimum of two years of research experience in a reputed institution. Candidate should have qualified for any “National Level Examination” as per DST OM dated 13.01.2019 (CSIR/UGC NET/GATE)

6. Consolidated monthly pay: Rs. 35,000/- (Rupees thirty five thousand only) per month (consolidated) + 8% HRA per month (if applicable)
