Job Description

Banaras Hindu University (BHU) invites application for the position Senior Research Fellow

Project: "Elucidation of Activities and Impact of Pax6 on Regulatory Elements of Brain during Hyperglycemia"

The post is temporary and co-terminus with the project. The candidates should be M.Sc. in Zoology/ Neuroscience/ Biochemistry/ Biotechnology/ Life Sciences/ Molecular and Human Genetics, NET/ GATE or equivalent OR M.Sc. with 55% marks and at least Two years of Research Experience in the area of Hyperglycemia/ Proteomics/ Genomics/ Neurobiology/ Biochemistry/ Bioinformatics/ Immunology.

Desirable Qualifications, Applicants having working experience on Mouse/ Ra Model/ Proteomics/ Genomics would be preferred.

Age Limit: The upper Age Limits 32 (Thirty two) Years (5 years relaxation for SC/ ST/ Physically Handicapped/ Female candidates). All things being equal, SC/ ST candidates will be preferred as per GOI rules.
