Senior Research Officer /Deputy Director job vacancies in National Institute of Siddha on Direct Recruitment / Deputation basis

1.Senior Research Officer (Stat): 01 Post – Deputation or Direct Recruitment (UR)

a. Scale of Pay: Level 11 ( Pre-revised Scale of Pay: PB - 3 + Rs.6600 G.P.)

b. Qualification for Direct Recruitment: 1.PG degree in Statistics from a recognized University. 2.15 Years experience in the field on Statistics in Central / State / Quasi Govt. Institutions. Desirable: 1.Ph.D in Statistics / Extensive experience in Research work.

2.Knowledge in Tamil & English

c.Maximum Age Limit: 50 years as on 01.01.2020.

d.Qualification for Deputation: 1.PG degree in Statistics 2.Working knowledge of computer 3.At least 10 years regular experience in Central Govt / State Govt / Quasi Govt Institutions in the field of Statistics preferably drawing in the scale of pay of Rs.15,600 – 39100 + 5400 (Level 10) and 5 Years experience as Statistician.

e.Maximum Age Limit: ‘Not exceeding 56 years’ on the closing date of receipt of application

2.Deputy Director(Admin): 01 Post – Deputation

a. Scale of Pay: Level 11 ( Pre-revised Scale of Pay : PB – 3 + Rs.6600 G.P.)

b.Qualification for Deputation: Holding analogous post or 8 years experience in administration or supervisory capacity in the scale of pay of 9300-34800+4600 (Level 7)

c.Maximum Age Limit: ‘Not exceeding 56 years’ on the closing date of receipt of application.

3.Lecturer: 05 Posts – Direct Recruitment as under:

(i) Maruthuvam – 2 posts – both UR

(ii) Gunapadam – 1 Post – UR

b. Qualification for Deputation: Assistant Library & Information Officer having Degree in Library Science from a recognized university / inst. With 5 years of experience in the post in any Govt. or autonomous organization.

5.Stenographer Grade ‘D’: 02 Posts – Direct Recruitment (1 Post Reserved for OBC and 01 Post UR)

a. Scale of Pay: Level 4 (Pre-revised Scale of Pay : PB - 1 + Rs.2400 G.P.)

b.Qualification for Direct Recruitment: 1.HSC from a recognized State Board of Education 2.Ability to write 80 wpm in Shorthand and 30 wpm in typewriting in English / Hindi

c. Maximum Age Limit: 28 years as on 01.01.2020.

As per the textual and archeological evidences which indicate the remote antiquity of the Dravidian civilization of the erstwhile submerged land Kumarikandam, that is the Lemuria continent situated in the Indian ocean, the Siddha System of Medicine is contemporaneous with those of the submerged lands Egyptian, Mesopotamian, Chinese and Grecian medicines.
