Your Role and Responsibilities
As a SAP HANA Basis Admin you will assist clients in the selection, implementation, and support of the SAP Hana Basis. You will use your consulting skills, business knowledge, and packaged solution expertise to effectively integrate packaged technology into the client's business environment in order to achieve client expected business results
The role would involve working with highly skilled infrastructure architects and deployment specialists in taking up challenging internal IBM projects to develop and execute complex solutions for IBM clients worldwide. In conjunction with IBM Distinguished Engineers and other key leaders, the Storage Architect would also provide guidance to the larger global Community of Practice (CoP) in their area and drive important community supported projects. He or She will prioritize building critical intellectual capital that may eventually be leveraged by the wider IBM audience through development of best-in-class reusable assets often using bleeding edge technologies on “First of a Kind” projects.

Responsibilities:

Architecting and planning SAP Upgrade and database migration projects
Deliver SAP upgrades, migrations and other Basis related projects
Consulting in both technical delivery and advisory services
Work on Real world SAP HANA
Backup/Restore/Recovery of SAP/Oracle installations, Server Monitoring and optimizing techniques

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

Minimum 9+ years of experience as a SAP HANA Basis
Certification in SAP OS (Operating System)/ DB (Database) Migration Consultant or Technology Associate - SAP Landscape Transformation 2.0 would be an added advantage.
Experience in working in Implementation, Upgrade, Maintenance and Post Production support projects would be an advantage
HANA Migration Basis Architect (ECC)
Well versed in designing, developing and maintaining large scale, load-balancing and redundant infrastructure on cloud and deploying scalable, highly available, and fault tolerant systems on AWS and Azure
Recognized as a specialist in creating and executing project plans and designing IT infrastructure / applications / data center, skilled in repositioning organizations to achieve operational and service excellence through datacenter migration and transformation, project and risk planning, customer service
Must have knowledge on ITIL Process.
Participate in RCA calls to provide right direction towards issue resolution using problem management approach

Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise

SAP HANA Certification.
