The candidates must have passed 10+2, Degree, Master’s Degree, or the equivalent from a recognized Board.

Essential: Doctoral degree in relevant subject including relevant basic sciences with 8 years experience in the relevant subject as Scientist / Lecturer / Extension Specialist or in an equivalent position in the PB – 3 of Rs.15600-39100 with GP Rs.5400/ Rs.6000/Rs.7000/Rs.8000 having made contribution to research / teaching / extension education as evidenced by published work / innovations and impact.

Salary Package:

Senior Scientist & Head – Rs.37,400-67,000 + GP Rs.9000

Subject Matter Specialist – Rs.15,600-39,100 + GP Rs.5400

Programme Assistant – Rs.9,300-34,800 + GP Rs.4200

Agromet Observer – Rs.5,200-20,200 + GP Rs.2000
