Senior Technical Officer/Technical Officer

Senior Technical Officer 1 (one) ▪ M. Tech./ B.E. in Civil Engineering from any Govt. recognized university with a minimum of 55% marks. ▪ Minimum 10 years of relevant post qualification experience in large infrastructure projects of which minimum 2 year of experience in working with government projects/ multi-lateral agencies. ▪ Candidates with M. Tech. having relevant experience will be given preference. ▪ Experience in project management software packages like primavera, MSproject is desirable. ▪ Excellent written and verbal skills in English and Assamese.

Rs. 70,000 – Rs. 80,000

Technical Officer2 (two) ▪ B.E. in Civil Engineering from any Govt. recognized university with a minimum of 55% marks. ▪ Minimum 4 years of relevant post qualification experience in large infrastructure projects of which minimum 2 year of experience in working with government projects/ multi-lateral agencies. ▪ Experience in project management software packages like primavera, MSproject is desirable.

Rs. 45,000 – Rs. 55,000

The Brahmaputra Basin in Assam consists of large tracts of land which are affected by high flood and river bank erosion posing major threat to life, crop and development. The water Resources Department, (WRD), Govt. of Assam has been addressing various mitigation measures to reduce the impact of flood and riverbank erosion on the habitation in these areas. Due tolimited availability of financial resources, WRD has been constrained to restrict its interventions to short term measures only in areas which need immediate attention.
