Applications are hereby sought from the eligible candidates for the selection of the following posts of National Tuberculosis Elimination Program (NTEP) under Kolkata District TB Control Society (Kolkata Municipal Corporation) on purely contractual basis, as per norms of State NUHM Society of West Bengal.

Senior Treatment supervisor / District PPM Coordinator

1. Post Name: Senior Treatment supervisor STS

2. Name of the Programme: NTEP

3. No of Vacancy: 02

4. Monthly Consolidated Renumeration: Rs 25000

5. Essential Qualification: 1. Bachelors Degree OR Recognized Sanitary Inspector course 2. Certificate Course in computers (Minimum 2 months) 3. Permanent Two wheeler driving License and should be able to drive Two wheelers

6. Preferential Qualification: Tuberculosis health visitor's recognized course Govt. recognized degree / diploma in Social work orMedical Social work Successful completion of basic training course (Govt.recognized) forMulti-purpose health workers

7. Job Responsibilities:

i. Assist DTO and MOTC to carry out all TB control activities under RNTCP including PMDT,TB/HIV coordination and PPM. 2. Coordinate with all concerned to ensure that all contacts of sputum positive patients arescreened for TB 3. Assist the MO-PHI in organizing DOT services for TB patients in his/her assigned TU

ii. Ensure retrieval of defaulters as per schedule. 5. Maintain the TB Register, incorporating required information with respect to all casesdiagnosed in the Block/TB Unit; ensure notification of TB Cases in his/her assigned TB Unit 6. Supervise referral and feedback/transfer-in & out activities for TB patients in assigned TB Unit

iii.Supervise each PHI in the area at least once every month, on a systematic schedule. 8. Assist DTO and MOTC in ensuring regular supply of drugs and other logistics to all PHIS inthe Block/TB Unit.

4. Monthly Consolidated Renumeration: Rs 25000

5. Essential Qualification: 1. Graduate 2. Diploma in Medical Laboratory Technology or Equivalent from a Government recognized institute 3. Certificate Course in computers (Minimum 2 months) 3. Permanent Two wheeler driving License and should be able to drive Two wheelers

6. Preferential Qualification: One year experience in NTEP

7. Job Responsibilities:

i. WII be responsible for maintaining the quality of sputum microscopy and smooth functoningof laboratory services. Organize smear examination at the designeted rucroscopy centres of the sub-distict. Organize regular training and cnnuing education of ttE laboratory technicians. Supervise all designated rNcroscopy centres at least once a month.

ii. Promote AFB microscopy as primary tod for diagnosis of TB. Check t-te record-keepng pertaining to sputum microscopy services Ensure Proper disposal of contaminated lab material in designated microscopy centres. Implementaton of all components of RNTCP lab Quality Assurance. Coordinate STS to 71sure that all TB patient diagnosed are initiated on treatment.

iii. Co-ordinate STS and PMDT Coordinator in updation of relevant RNTCP records, line-list of DR-TB Suspects and preparation of Quarterly Reports Ensure that diagnostic and follow up sputum specimens for Culture/DST of DRTB suspects/patjents are sent from the DMCs to Cutture/DST Laboratories as per RNTCP guidelines.

5. Essential Qualification: Post Graduate One year Experience of Working in field of Communication ACSM / Public- Private Partnership /Health projects programs 3. Pemanent two Wheeler driving License & should ableto drive Two wheeler

6. Preferential Qualification: Training course forMPW recognized sanitary Inspectors course

7. Job Responsibilities:

i. To assist the District TB officer (in co-ordination with State PPM coordinator) in : Implementation of PPM and ACSM activities at the district and sub-district level. Assisting the DTO in mapping and line listing of all stake holders, identifying NGOs, Privateproviders for partnerships and facilitating the process of partnerships.

ii. Coordinating workshops / meetings for improving involvement of PPS & NGOs. Collating the required information from NGOs / PPS / Partners to enable qualiti, onitoring and enhancing TB control activities. . Compiling necessary documents for disbursal of Grant in Aid to NGOs and PPS

iii. Facilitating periodic review of partnerships with different stakeholders . Facilitate ACSM activities in coordination with the IEC officer and PPM partners . Coordinating with the medical college / hospitals / teaching institutes / schools or improved involvement in the program. . Coordinating with corporate / private hospitals
