Senior UI/UX Web and Mobile Native Apps Product Designer for eLearning Platform

Job Description

The Senior UI/UX Designer will be part of our web and mobile eLearning Platform design team and work closely with our clients to understand their requirements. Candidates should be passionate about user research, prototyping, creating designs that are simple, elegant and useful and modern. You will play a key role in defining mobile and web interfaces for implementing new features to our existing application or enhancing existing features. You will require to closely coordinating with other designers, developers and business analysis teams.

Responsibilities

• Understand the business and end-user requirements for web and mobile apps and design quick wireframe for further brainstorming; participate in client meetings and requirements gathering sessions
• Reseach other eLearning software products in the market and technology trends
• Create functional requirements documents, conceptual diagrams, workflow diagrams, wireframes, and prototypes
• Develop visual screens, specifications and work closely with the development team on implementation
• Develop user experience and visual design solutions that fit together across our suite of products
• Research latest and innovative UI/UX methodologies and best practices and apply them software product design
• Develop the web/mobile front-end application in HTML 5, JavaScript, CSS, Boostrap, Angular
• Graphics design for web and mobile applications

Requirements

• Five or more years of experience as a UI/UX designer or similar role
• Expertise to create quick mockups/wireframes using MS Office tools like MS PowerPoint
• Ability to design UI for both web and mobile applications and cross-browser solutions
• Experience in working with complex applications including content management systems, portals, e-commerce systems, multi-role access
• Learning Management System product and E-learning course design experience
• Experience with learning management systems design a big plus
• Proficiency in Photoshop, Illustrator and prototyping tools such as Indesign, Adobe XD, Sketch, Visio, Figma
• Experience with graphics tools like Photoshop, Illustrator and prototyping tools
• Excellent knowledge and skill in HTML 5, CSS, Javascript, Bootstrap, AngularJS, front-end prototyping tools and mobile/responsive design
• Understanding of software development life cycle and ability to work with software development and QA engineers
