4. Duties

Review, analyse and strategize ways to improve and track site performance through design, layout and advertising techniques in order to gain the most organic traffic.

Perform in-depth keyword & phrase research and improve the company's organic search results. Also, identify the least expensive but most powerful and profitable keywords & phrases.

Administer search engine tools (XML sitemaps, shopping feeds, webmaster tools) to conduct diagnostic reporting on projects.

Create/assist in the development and execution of content strategies & SEO campaigns in coordination with the company’s SEO goals (general & keyword specific). Prepare their performance reports & web analytics dashboards.

Coordinate with other teams on running & upcoming projects, timelines and results.

Track latest digital technological developments and implement wherever they are required.

Work with writers for original & powerful SEO content for company blog, website, effective headlines, body copy, and strong call-to-action statements.

Utilize programming and web design skills to enhance SEO.

Keep abreast of white hat and black hat tactics so as not to violate search engine guidelines.

5. Skills & competencies

a. Knowledge of CSS, HTML, PHP & blogging

b. Knowledge of on page optimization

c. Knowledge of content marketing

d. Ability to perform complete website SEO analysis & make good reports

e. Capability to think creatively & strategically and suggest solid strategies to generate organic traffic on the website and pages

f. Good understanding of webmaster and analytics

g. Experience of working with popular keyword tools (Google, WordTracker, Keyword Discovery, etc)

h. Good command over written and spoken English language

i. Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple, concurrent projects.

j. Ability to work with various teams at the same time
