Himachal Pradesh Public Service Commission (HPPSC) invites applications for the position of Sericulture Officer

5. Essential Qualification(s):

i) Post Graduate Degree in Agriculture/ Zoology/Botany/ Horticulture /Forestry/ Biotechnology/ Sericulture from Govt. recognized university or an Institution duly recognized by the H.P./Central Govt.

ii) Post qualification three months of training in the branch of Sericulture from a Government recognized Institution or Government registered private Institution/organization. OR

i)First Class Bachelor's Degree in the subject of Agriculture/ Zoology/Botany/ Horticulture/Forestry/Biotechnology/Sericulture from a recognized university or an Institution duly recognized by the H.P./Central Govt.

ii) Post qualification three months of training in the branch of Sericulture from a Government recognized Institution or Government registered private Institution/organization.

iii) Post qualification one-year work experience in Sericulture & Silk Industry government organization or Government registered private organization.

6. Desirable Qualification: Knowledge of customs, manners, and dialects of Himachal Pradesh and suitability for appointment in the peculiar conditions prevailing in Pradesh.

Age Limit:

Between 18 to 45 years.
