Your Role and ResponsibilitiesL3 SFG Administrator will provide support in implementing solutions and troubleshooting issues related to SFG suit. It includes definition and execution of best practice standards for the technical administration and operations team. If you are seeking a challenging role opportunity that leverages cloud based deployments, has responsibility for a critical enterprise platform and provides a key customer management function, then this role is for youResponsibilities:
- Responsible for handling relevant technologies is must (Sterling File Gateway, Sterlinf Integrator, Sterling Secure Proxy, Sterling Perimeter Server, Control Centre, Red Hat EL7)
- Configuring Network adapters
- Troubleshooting transactions, file transfer failures and issue resolution
- Support for multiple operating systems including UNIX, Windows NT/2000, Linux, IBM z/OS & iSeries.
- Understanding of PGP and how its implemented with SFG
- Troubleshooting dashboard issues and system performance tuning
- Monitor performance and execution of files managed through platform; respond to and troubleshoot problems
- Analyse root causes of operational malfunctions and provide resolutions
- Handle escalated issues and follow-up on outstanding issues promptly
- Ensure compliance and alignment with security and audit requirements
- Recommend process improvements to improve operational efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
- Maintain daily logs of operational issues and maintenance activities; Contribute to business meetings and report on issue status
- Address customer issues promptly and accurately
- Apply ITIL methodologies
Required Technical and Professional Expertise- Extensive knowledge on SFG suit
- Experience in interacting with IBM support for issue resolution.
- Should be able to troubleshoot and manage on System level
- Ability to check logs for issues
- To be able to do installations of Sterling Products and configure them.
- Setup parameters in SI/SFG and support communication
- Working knowledge in file transfer protocols including HTTPs , SFTP.
- Should have BPML development knowledge
