Job Description

The role
  • Must have worked on SharePoint Server 2010/2013/Online and familiar with SharePoint in-depth architecture, deployment and migration process
  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office 365, Power BI, SQL Server, Active Directory, IIS, SQL and Windows Servers.
  • Ability to design architecture/systems in complex business scenarios like setup hybrid scenario, sharing a service application across farm etc.
  • Experience in SharePoint PowerShell modules to configure and administer SharePoint and to automate tasks.
  • Configuring all service applications like Search, Metadata, User Profile Synchronization etc.
  • Monitor Server Health and closely monitor event logs / ULS logs for any critical errors.
  • Delegate the troubleshooting of the issues to the development team if custom codes have caused the issues.
  • Plan and implement Service Packs and Cumulative Updates of SharePoint Foundation and SharePoint Server.
  • Perform site and data migration tasks between cross farms, sites, & site objects
  • Create and maintain documentation for SharePoint infrastructures, deployments, and service specifications.
  • Collaborate with Infrastructure and DBA groups on backup/recovery operations and disaster recovery testing related to SharePoint implementation.
  • Responsible for managing Service applications, create web applications, and site collections.
  • Understand how Microsoft Teams integrates with SharePoint and conduct any related administrative tasks.
  • Familiar with SharePoint out of the box tools such as Web / App Parts, Workflows, Timer job, Lists / Views, Security Permissions, SharePoint Designer, Branding, Accessibility, and others.
  • Familiar with SharePoint customization techniques such as JavaScript, JavaScript Frameworks, JS Link, Custom Actions, Display Templates, Responsive Design / Mobile, and others.
  • Experience in SharePoint On-prem and Online along with RESTful Web Services, JSON, XML and SPFx. He should have also experience in SharePoint app model Along with O365 working methodology.
  • Good experience in Client Side object model (CSOM and JSOM),Server side object model (SSOM),JSON, JQuery, Javascript, CSS, HTML
  • Can use Azure services and deploy applications to it.
What We Need To See From You
  • 5+ years SharePoint support and troubleshooting at an enterprise level, with design and project management experience.
  • 2-4 years' experience supporting, administering and deployment of enterprise-wide SharePoint implementations and customizations that include permissions, lists, libraries, Wiki, workflows, and other platform offerings
  • Strong SQL server administration, including backup and restoration.
  • 2- 4 years' experience with SharePoint 2010 / 2013 and later versions including custom SharePoint Web parts, SharePoint Workflows, PowerApps and Flow
  • Previous work experience with SharePoint and MS Teams
  • High Level of communication and interpersonal skills and ability to understand technical issues and clearly articulate solutions to clients.
  • Respond to Major Incidents promptly and with a sense of urgency.
  • Experience in supporting global networks
  • Sound understanding of enterprise security concepts
  • Proven analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Strong communication skills
  • Good command in English, further foreign languages are a plus
  • Cross-cultural communication skills
Certifications
  • ITIL Foundation desirable
  • SharePoint Course/Exam completion desirable
  • Knowledge in the ticketing system.
