Floor Supervisor – Job Description

Job Summary

The Floor Supervisor is responsible for overseeing day-to-day operations on the assigned floor or section. This role ensures smooth workflow, maintains quality and service standards, supervises staff, and ensures compliance with company policies and safety guidelines.

Key Responsibilities

1. Team Supervision

• Supervise and guide floor staff during shifts.

• Assign duties and monitor task completion.

• Train new employees on operational procedures and service standards.

2. Operational Management

• Ensure smooth functioning of the assigned floor or department.

• Monitor productivity and efficiency of staff.

• Coordinate with other departments for seamless operations.

3. Quality & Service Standards

• Ensure company quality standards are maintained.

• Inspect work areas, equipment, and service delivery.

• Address customer or internal complaints promptly.

4. Safety & Compliance

• Ensure compliance with company policies and safety procedures.

• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards.

• Report incidents or operational issues to management.

5. Reporting & Documentation

• Prepare daily operational reports.

• Track staff attendance and shift schedules.

• Maintain inventory or supplies for the floor if required.
