The ideal candidate will be responsible for conceptualizing and Developing eCommerce sites on Shopify platform. You will test your code, identify errors, and iterate to ensure quality shopify development. You will also support our customers and partners by troubleshooting any of their website issues

Responsibilities

. 

• Developing eCommerce sites on Shopify platform
• Developing custom Shopify themes
• Migrating websites from other eCommerce platforms to Shopify
• Extending Shopify's functionalities to next level using storefront APIs, liquid programming, meta fields, etc
• Integrating third-party and platform supported apps in the sites
• Setting up payment integration, shipping methods and taxes in Shopify platform
• Page speed optimization of Shopify sites
• Implementing SEO/CRO best practices in Shopify sites
• Transforming complex layout PSDs into pixel-perfect presentation-layer HTML5/CSS3 templates
• Creating responsive website designs
• Working with version control systems such as GIT / SVN
• Working under tight deadlines
• Handling multiple projects at the same time
• Producing high quality of work with a strong focus on detail
• Thoroughly QA work prior to submission
• Work closely with the client and with the project managers to drive the Shopify project
• Act as a Shopify expert, specializing in all facets of the eCommerce platform
• Write structured, well-organized, and reusable code
• Implementation and customization of 3rd party custom apps
• Generating custom-tailored Shopify themes, and altering pre-existing templates
• Create public and private Shopify apps
• To provide quality checks always and ensure all system bugs are identified and fixed in a timely and accurate fashion.

Qualifications

• Expertise in custom theme development.
• Expertise in liquid coding, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. if he has exposure to custom shopify development that it will be an added advantage.
• Experience on custom theme development and custom app development in Shopify
• Strong debugging and troubleshooting skills 
• 4+ years' of development experience
