Job Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Site Engineer to join our real estate development team in Bangalore. As a Site Engineer, you will be responsible for over seeing construction projects, ensuring that they are executed efficiently, safely, and within budget. Your role will involve working closely with architects, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure the successful completion of projects.

Responsibilities:

1. Project Planning and Scheduling: Develop a detailed construction plan and schedule, taking into account various phases of construction, resource allocation, and deadlines.

2. Site Preparation: Ensure the site is properly prepared for construction, including clearing any debris, grading the land, and setting up necessary temporary facilities such as site offices and storage areas.

3. Quality Control: Monitor the quality of materials used in construction and ensure that construction work meets the required quality standards and specifications.

4. Safety Compliance: Enforce safety measures and ensure that all workers and
contractors on the site adhere to safety regulations. Regularly conduct safety inspections and implement corrective actions as needed.

5. Budget Management: Keep track of project expenses and make sure they align with the budget. Report any deviations and work on cost control measures.

6. Resource Management: Manage the allocation of labor, equipment, and materials efficiently to meet project deadlines and budget constraints.

7.Construction Supervision: Oversee the day-to-day construction activities, ensuring they are carried out according to the approved plans and specifications.

8. Communication: Maintain clear communication with the project manager, clients, subcontractors, and other stakeholders. Provide regular progress reports and address any concerns or issues promptly.

9. Document Control: Keep detailed records of all construction activities, including drawings, change orders, and project documentation. Ensure that as-built drawing are updated as construction progresses.

10.Quality Assurance: Implement quality assurance and quality control procedure so verify that the work meets design and code requirements.

11.Inspections and Permits: Coordinate with local authorities to obtain necessary permits and ensure inspections are conducted as required during various stages of construction.

12.Problem Solving: Identify and address any construction-related issues or challenges that may arise during the project, finding solutions to keep the project on track.

13.Environmental Compliance: Ensure that the construction site follows environmental regulations and guidelines. Implement measures to minimize the project's environmental impact.

14.Testing and Commissioning: Oversee the testing and commissioning of building systems, such as electrical, plumbing, and HVAC, to ensure they function correctly.

15. Handover and Closeout: Prepare the building for occupancy, coordinate final inspections, and hand over the completed project to the client. Ensure that all necessary documentation, manuals, and warranties are provided.

16.Post-Construction Maintenance: Address any warranty claims or post-construction issues that may arise after the project is completed.

Qualifications:

● Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.

● Proven 4 years experience as a Site Engineer in the real estate or construction industry, preferably in Bangalore.

● Sound knowledge of construction processes, methods, and materials.

● Familiarity with local building codes, regulations, and safety standards.

● Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to multitask and meet deadlines.

● Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with diverse stakeholders.

● Proficient in using construction management software and tools.

● Problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.

● Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
