About the internship
Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:
Learn Social Media Marketing
Learn Adobe Photoshop
1. Work with the digital marketing team to refine social media strategy and best practices
2. Assist in managing social media channels (Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, Instagram, Flickr, YouTube) and editorial calendar to ensure content is timely, relevant, and engaging
3. Draft weekly e-newsletters to companies subscribers
4. Prepare weekly updates and reports to track growth and success rates of campaigns
5. Keep up to date and informed on new social media trends and adapt accordingly
6. Ensure proper messaging is being executed online
7. Identify leaders and influencers (internal/external) and engage them in brand activities
8. Assist with website copywriting, proofing, and updating as needed
9. Be actively involved in SEO efforts (keyword, image optimization, etc.)
10. Launch optimized online adverts through Google Adwords, Facebook, etc. to increase company and brand awareness
11. Collaborate with designers to improve user experience
12. Measure the performance of digital marketing efforts using a variety of Web analytics tools (Google Analytics, WebTrends, etc.)
13. Acquire insight into online marketing trends and keep strategies up-to-date
14. Support the marketing team in daily administrative tasks
15. Assist in marketing and advertising promotional activities (direct mail and web)
16. Help organize marketing events
