About the internship

Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:

1. Assist with streamlining the company's social media accounts
2. Increase the number of followers we have on Twitter and Instagram by following and engaging with potential clients and candidates
3. Use LinkedIn polls and surveys to build our social media footprint and reputation
4. Maintain a monthly social media and blogging calendar and ensure that everyone is meeting their deadlines
5. Drive awareness of our new blog posts by posting the articles into forums and groups
6. Understand and monitor social media analytics

Other requirements

1. The social media intern is responsible for coordinating and executing the company and our client's social media strategy, working across key social media channels including Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and LinkedIn

2. Proven written communication skills and a passion for writing both short- and long-copy

3. Excellent verbal communications skills

4. An interest in marketing, communications, social media or reputation management

5. Familiarity with key social media tools (e.g. Twitter and Facebook) and with Microsoft Office products (e.g. Word, PowerPoint, Excel)

6. Excellent attention to detail and a high motivation to learn

7. A proactive and service-focused attitude towards clients and candidates and the teams you support internally

8. An ability to remain calm under pressure and a robust/resilient attitude towards challenges
