Software Developer - CAD/IO
  • A Software Developer in the CAD/IO Team has the main goal of developing, maintaining and testing HyperMesh CAD readers and writers. 
  • His/her goal is to get the best quality/accuracy of the results, the best performance, and the best robustness of the import/export phase. 
  • He/she will take care of assessing/accepting the libraries provided by third-party providers and will cooperate not just with the members of the CAD/IO Team, but also with the other teams as required.

Develop new CAD readers/writers, possibly utilizing third-party libraries
  • Maintain existing CAD readers/writers
  • Design and implement new algorithms, data structures and procedures
  • Address issues raised by customers and colleagues by analyzing the problems and finding solutions or proposing workarounds
  • Ensure high quality work on all supported platfoms, and indicate the limits of implemented solution, if any
  • Test thoroughly changes in the code, using existing tools or creating new tools as required
  • Assess the quality of new versions of  third-party libraries, using existing tools or creating new tools as required
  • Actively participate within the team and cooperate with colleagues; attend all required meetings
  • Collaborate with other teams and assist them anytime it's needed, producing documentation, test cases and providing general support
