Your Role and Responsibilities
IBM Managed Security Services (MSS) is a high growth business within IBM. MSS is recognized by Gartner, Forester and other consulting firms as the clear leader in Managed Security Services products and services. As a software developer with MSS, you would be joining an exciting growth business with IBM that is a model for Innovation that Matters.
In support of this, IBM MSS is seeking software engineers who are passionate about Front End development, Backend development, Platform Development, DevOps, and Continuous Integration. Successful candidates should be Collaborators, willing to learn and more importantly adopt best practices, an Agile practitioner with a willingness to jump in and figure out complex technical problems, with a focus on delivering results.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise
· 3 – 5 years of experience:
· Fluency in spoken and written English
· Software developer dealing with enterprise class software using Java, Javascript, REST, serverless computing, Pub/SUB model, SQL, No-SQL, unit testing, Python, NodeJS
· Agile software development and test automation experience
· Virtualization systems like VMware/Openstack/HyperV and any public cloud
· Architecting, designing and developing products using enterprise-class Java, IBM CloudPaks and related technologies
· Github Jenkins, Maven, GitOps Flux, Containers, Helm Chart
· Java, Python, Nodejs, React, Express with Micro Services, API, pub/sub, messaging patterns and Spring Boot implementation
· ServiceNow, Kafka, Ansible, Vault, Elastic Search, Databases (mySQL, CouchDB, others)
· Cloud experience, The Twelve Factor App methodology
· Developing reusable software/framework based products dealing with scalability, availability, reliability, testability
· Proven ability to deliver software that meets functional and non-functional requirements, quality metrics and validating test cases for incorporation into MSS Platform and Applications.
· Ability to learn new technologies and processes and quickly apply them to the overall development effort.
