Job Description

Software Developer II

Very strong Java programmer with concurrency & distributed application development experience
API development experience
Strong knowledge of webcentric technologies including HTML, JSON, JavaScript, Web sockets
Experience tuning java garbage collection & performance is a must
Garbage collection friendly programming experience in Java is a huge plus
Web services (REST/SOAP) development experience is a plus
Development experience with one or more of Netty, akka, Cassandra is a big plus
.NET development experience is a plus [if not, willingness to learn & be a hybrid developer]
Knowledge of Google protobuf is a good to have
In general willing to learn & master new technologies. We cross train team members, so everyone can work on different parts of the platform.
