IBM Security require Software Developers to join a new team helping to develop and support next generation solutions for the IBM Security QRadar product suite. This is your chance to help develop innovative technology products, as well as advance your career. You will be part of a wider international IBM Security team, a group of passionate people working on powerful cyber security applications & solutions.
As a Software Developer you will be part of a development team creating innovative solutions as well as maintaining the product code base for existing customers. You will work closely with other team members and the Product Owner to ensure technical solutions are found & delivered in a timely manner. You will be working in a fast-moving Agile Java development environment, where a willingness to learn quickly and deliver on time will be required.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise
Required Expertise (1+ years of experience):

University Degree in Computing or a related field
Fluency in spoken and written English
1+ years of Java software development experience including Struts, MVC, Javascript
Experience of Linux scripting and development on Linux servers
SQL database experience, preferably Postgres
Ability to learn new technologies and processes and quickly apply them to the overall development effort.
Excellent troubleshooting skills and communication skills - written, verbal, presentation

Experience working in an Agile development environment
Cyber Security knowledge
IP Networking knowledge
Knowledge of Python
