We’re looking for an experienced and enthusiastic Lead Software Developer (Backend) to join our engineering team and help accelerate our next phase of growth.

Responsibilities

As a Lead Software Developer (Backend) you would be responsible for leading a line of product (pod) at Leena. Your responsibilities include:
Work with the team to produce estimates, establish time frames, and identify potential roadblocks/risks to successful delivery
Play critical role in roadmap discussions, manage product team communications, releases and development cycles for the pod
Conduct code reviews, lead HLD discussions, help team maintain the code quality and best practices
Architect and build scalable system used by millions of employees
Manage product team communications, releases and development cycles for the pod
Leading the Hiring/On-boarding process for new engineers for the pod
Ensuring the entire stack is designed and built for speed and scalability
Developing performance frameworks, continuous development frameworks, and any other engineering operational infrastructure

Requirements

6+ years of overall professional software development experience

Effective communicate and ability to explain complex technical concepts is a must

Experienced with server-side languages and environment (Python/Golang/Node.js)

In-depth understanding of databases (e. g. MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB) and web servers (e. g. Apache, Nginx)

Proficiency with JavaScript and frameworks and libraries such as React.js would be a plus

Good to have experience in Docker, Kubernetes

Co-Founded a start-up or working in a start-up is a plus
