Responsibilities

·       Full stack programmer comfortable both in backend and front end development.

·       Convert nascent and unstructured business requirements to concrete feature requirements.

·       Should take end-to-end ownership and pride on building the features assigned.

·       Drive features from design, data model, backend to front end implementation.

·       Should be able to quickly learn and implement solutions in any new framework and relevant technology to solve the problem at hand.

Qualifications

·       Bachelor’s degree or higher in computer science (or related fields) from reputed institutes (Tier 1, Tier 2)

·       2+ years of software development experience preferably in a product engineering team

Skills

·       Strong analytical and structural thinking skills

·       Strong Algorithm and Data Structure design skills

·       Strong Object Oriented Design and Coding skills

·       Polyglot programmer comfortable in object oriented/scripting and functional languages (Java, Python, PHP, Javascript, Scala etc)

·       Experience in MVC frameworks (frontend/backend) and in developing REST APIs (Spring, Rails, AngularJS)

·       Experience working on event driven web servers (Nodejs, Play)

·       Good working knowledge on relational databases (MySQL/PostGreSQl/Oracle)

·       Familiarity with version control tools (Git, etc)

Bonus points

·       Experience in NoSQL/In-memory databases (MongoDB, Cassandra, Redis)

·       Experience in application integration using message queues/brokers (Rabbit MQ, Active MQ)
