Reporting to the Team Manager, you will be involved in identifying, proposing, and implementing innovative technology development and solutions by contributing with your own ideas along with executing assigned product development tasks using unique technical knowledge.

Your Responsibilities

Analyzing of requirements, creating test cases, executing test cases, reporting the bug, and creating system test reports.
Understanding of test plans, test cases, test procedures and executing the test cases based on the product requirements specification, technical requirements specification, behavior, and usage of the products.
Analyzing the defects leaked out of the test phase of the product.
Interacting with product management, project management, and development teams to develop a strong understanding of the test project and testing objectives.
Reporting test results and entering problems and issues into the bug database team foundation server (TFS).
Monitoring and updating bug reports as needed including bug report closure.
Testing of Fieldbus protocol with test automation scripts.

Your background

Bachelor’s or master’s degree in any of electrical/ electronic/ computer science or equivalent.
2-4 years of experience in software testing (preferably product type testing).
Should have worked on development projects for at least one year with strong understanding of the software product development life cycle (SDLC).
Extensive experience in testing life cycle including knowledge of various testing methodologies, test strategy development, test data analysis, and exposure to the bug life cycle.
Proven experience in automation testing with C#, Python, etc.
Certifications preferably international software testing qualifications board (ISTQB),certified software tester (CSTE),or equivalent is an added advantage.
Extensive experience and skills in manual functionality testing, performance testing, user experience (UX) testing in a windows environment.
Exposure to testing tools like Microsoft test manager (MTM),team foundation server (TFS),or similar.
