We are looking for a capable intern who is interested in building a Java-based project designed to apply text mining tools to large numbers of text documents encountered by us on a daily basis.

Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:

1. Building a Java-based application that will process large numbers of raw text documents (such as emails, public documents, letters, etc.),deriving patterns, and applying text analytics to them
2. Building a Java application that integrates the best capabilities of text-mining, analytics applications, and libraries available online

Note: We are looking for interns looking to work on challenging projects in the realm of text analytics and mining. Our projects involve using text analytics tools to process large volumes of text and unstructured data to derive patterns from them.

The intern will have to use a variety of text mining applications in order to read large volumes of natural language text and apply artificial intelligence algorithms upon them. He/she will have to approach the problem with an open mind and see how large volumes of raw unstructured text can be processed using text-mining applications.
