In this Software Engineer role, you will be responsible for in managing projects from the Initiation phase of the SDLC through the Release phase of the Optum, part of the UnitedHealth Group family of businesses, SDLC.

Primary Responsibilities

Design, implement and maintain Master data management applications within all phases of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
Develop, test, implement and maintain application software working with established processes
Establish, refine and integrate development and test environment tools and software as needed
Identify production and non-production application issues
Identify opportunities to fine-tune and optimize applications of developed projects
Design, code, test, debug, document and support all types of applications consistent with established specifications and business requirements to deliver business value
Collaborate with the team on application architecture design and decision-making
Design and implement application enhancements in collaboration with different teams
Translate highly complex concepts in ways that can be understood by a variety of audiences
Ensure timely deliveries for all assigned tasks as per SLA
Participate in SCRUM meetings, Design reviews, Test Case reviews, and Production Support readiness reviews for new releases

Required Qualifications

B.Tech/MCA/Msc/MTech (Minimum 16 years of formal education, Correspondence courses are not relevant)
3-5 years of experience in Talend ETL or Mule ESB supporting distributed Application (Windows, Linux)
Experienced in supporting distributed application - window, linux, middleware
Has work on Incidents, Problem Ticket and Change
High degree of initiative and self-motivation with a willingness and ability to learn and take on challenging opportunities
Good communication and presentation skills, multi-tasking and organizational skills
Have understanding of CI/CD tools and concepts
Have understanding of ATDD
Good at multi-tasking and organizational skills
Good attitude and self-motivated
Ability to work as a member of matrix based diverse and geographically distributed project team
