Embedded Software Engineer Responsibilities

Include:

Ø Designing and implementing software of embedded devices and systems

Ø Designing, developing, coding, testing and debugging system software

Ø Analyzing and enhancing efficiency, stability and scalability of system resources

Ø Design and implement software of embedded devices and systems from requirements to production and commercial deployment

Ø Design, develop, code, test and debug system software

Ø Review code and design

Ø Analyze and enhance efficiency, stability and scalability of system resources

Ø Integrate and validate new product designs

Ø Support software QA and optimize I/O performance

Ø Provide post-production support

Ø Interface with hardware design and development

Ø Assess third party and open-source software

Requirements

Ø Proven expert in software engineering

Ø Expert in development and troubleshooting on embedded targets

Ø Solid programming experience in C or C++

Ø Expert in embedded systems design with preemptive, multitasking real-time operating systems

Ø Familiarity with software configuration management tools, defect tracking tools, and peer review

Ø Excellent knowledge of OS coding techniques, IP protocols, interfaces and hardware subsystems

Ø Adequate knowledge of reading schematics and datasheets for components

Ø Strong documentation and writing skills

Note: Candidates who completed the basic embedded course will be preferred.

QUALIFICATION:

ü B.E. - E.E.E., E.C.E. Any Electronics as Basic Course

Required education: Bachelors.

 NOTE:

          Only the candidates who completed the course for the embedded system can attend the interview.
