Job Description

Software Engineer-IV

No of Position : 2

Responsibility :

Analyze information to determine, recommend, and plan installation of a new system or modification of an existing system.
Consult with engineering staff to evaluate interface between hardware and software, develop specifications and performance requirements, or resolve customer problems.
Modify existing software to correct errors, to adapt it to new hardware, or to upgrade interfaces and improve performance.
Develop or direct software system testing or validation procedures.
Direct software programming and development of documentation.
Design or develop software systems, using scientific analysis and mathematical models to predict and measure outcome and consequences of design.
Work on 3gpp LTE development in both UE and eNodeBWorking on 3GPP Protocols (LTE, Cat-M1, NB-IoT, 5G).
Work on TTCN3 scripting and using other scripting languages (e.g. Python).
Work on entire cellular protocol including NAS (MM, CC),Access Stratum (RR, RLC, MAC, PDCP) and Physical Layer / DSP.
Analyze, debug, and fix failures found during cellular Lab Conformance test. Familiar with analyzie both UE and eNB side logs.
Work on Lab Conformance test equipment (e.g. R&S, Keysight, Spirent etc.).
Work on verification and debugging of commercial tests available -- GCF/PTCRB, Operator tests and other test packages.

Education/ Qualification : Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Computer Science or Electronics or Electrical Engineering required.
