This Software Engineer role will be associated with the Bitbucket, Sonar and IntelliJ/Visual Studio/Visual Studio Code products. You will work with the Product Owner to prioritize the backlog and contribute to project execution and Agile sprints to deliver on the product roadmap. You should be experienced in Software development and automation scripting using Java and Python and will also be involved in hands on application and engineering activates including technical tasks, coding, scripting and automation, product support, product upgrades and product testing and also work with the vendor on new releases and production issues.

This role requires a wide variety of strengths and capabilities, including:

• BS/BA degree or equivalent experience
• Advanced knowledge of application, data and infrastructure architecture disciplines
• Understanding of architecture and design across all systems
• Working proficiency in developmental toolsets
• Ability to collaborate with high-performing teams and individuals throughout the firm to accomplish common goals
• Proficiency in one or more general purpose programming languages Java, Python.
• Understanding of software skills such as business analysis, development, maintenance and software improvement
• Scripting/Development using Java and Python
• Ability to work collaboratively in teams and develop meaningful relationships to achieve common goals
• Advanced Java or Python experience with writing, extending and peer reviewing code, REST web services, SQLs.
• Drive for improvement and understanding and addressing root-level causes
• Experience in automating processes and integrating products
• Experience with multi-threading and concurrency preferred
• Experience with end to end application performance tuning preferred
• Experience with working in a Dev/Ops or SRE model preferred
• Experience and/or awareness of full infrastructure stack a plus
