Job Description

Production Support JD L1-L2 Production Support to provides core technical support to the Rates Fixed Income Trading or FX Market Good interpersonal and communication skills, great teammate. UNIX (AIX/ Linux) environment Windows / Wintel OS environments Databases - Oracle, Microsoft SQL. Knowledge on Geneos ITRS monitoring would be an added advantage Experience with any programming languages would be beneficial
Ability to troubleshoot incidents and problems raised by users, investigate system behavior and drive resolutions at times relaying to development for bug fixes as needed Cooperation with Development colleagues to prioritize bug fixes and support tooling requirements.
Ensure all productions issues are logged and updated as per the Support team policies and procedures.
Responsible for using various tools to monitor system health and performance and respond to critical alerts to address potential issues within the applications.
Maintaining and managing monitoring configurations is also a key requirement Develop and maintain technical support documentation.
Performs pre-flight checks at SOD to ensure system readiness for trading by the relevant users, identify and fix any issues prior to European markets opening Participate in and complete application releases, from development, testing and deployment into production.
Perform post release checkouts after application releases and infrastructure updates.
Active involvement in and ownership of Support Project items, covering Stability, Efficiency, and Effectiveness initiatives.
